Office of Training of Farmers and Agricultural Occupations

In 2012, due to the separation and assignment of duties in the field of skills training related to agricultural occupations, the name of this office was changed to the office of Training of Farmers and Agricultural Occupations.

Utilizing the executive power of more than 60 agricultural training centers and affiliated educational units across the country, this office act as a desirable potential to improve the knowledge and skills of agricultural operators and activists working in the sector such as non-governmental organizations and unions. As well as villagers, children of farmers and other adolescents interested in studying in high school in agricultural fields, this effort can lead to reforming the age pyramid and raising the level of education of producers in the sector.

For this purpose, important tasks such as; Educational needs assessment, educational standardization, planning and monitoring the implementation of informal technical and vocational training (agricultural operators) and formal agriculture (vocational and technical) in order to prevent the erosion of working manpower and training young, skilled and familiar Agricultural techniques have been assigned to this office.

The thematic focus of the educational activities of this office is professional technical training. These trainings are characterized by the development of skills and abilities to obtain a job or increase job skills, which leads to the issuance of skills certificates. These trainings are provided in

• Increase the knowledge, and skills of the operators and producers of the sector.

• Increase the productivity of sector-based resources by empowering operators.

• Training of manpower at the levels of semi-skilled, skilled and master craftsmanship and supervision for agricultural production units.

• Single-module and applied scientific module skill trainings.

the field of upgrading and maintaining the informal skills of formal agricultural and technical farmers.

Office Mission:

Improving and reconstructing the age and education pyramid of employees and potentials to enter the sector by applying governance, policy-making, macro-planning, monitoring and evaluation, guiding and organizing the educational facilities and capabilities of the respective ministry.
